Process Model

The Amusement and Restaurant business process begins with guest entry into the building. Once the guest has entered he or she has a decision to be made. The guest can choose to either purchase a Powercard to start playing the arcade games or purchase food at the business’ sit-down restaurant area. Regardless of the guest’s choice to either buy food or the Powercard, after their decision is completed, they will enter the arcade and bar area of the business. From this step in the business process, the guest has another decision to be made. He or she can either play games using their Powercard or go to the bar and order drinks. Both decisions ultimately lead to the guest playing arcade games. The guest then can turn in their winnings and collect their prize. After the guests collects their prize, they leave the business.

According to the textbook, the business process is “a network of activities for accomplishing a business function.” (Kroenke,Boyle,Poatsy, 2017).
